Default Do newly painted interior parts need to be clearcoated?

I was under the impression that there is no need to clearcoat interior parts after spraying them with interior dye. Although they came out really nice, they look very dull. Is this normal, or are we supposed to clear coat? If we do have to clear, can we use a normal clear or do we need something special for this application?

Thanks!
Jerry

I've never clear coated interior parts. What brand dye are you using? With some if you don't put on a heavy enough coat it looks dull or dusty.

I think I got it from Mid America. It says on the can that you should spray mist coats until it is covered. So... I'm not sure what to do now.
