Default Demon carb. real bad boog.

The 78 was runing real fine. I removed the 1000cfm foam air cleaner and installed a 10" x 2" paper filter. We live on a dirt road and wanted more filtration. But now the car stumbles real bad when you first get on it. Can just changing the filter cause this. The car has the road demon on a med. high rise intake. What do you think.

well, i belive a stumble indicates a rich condition... and if you put on a different aircleaner the engine might not be getting enough air...hence the stumble. switch back and see if it still does it.

Thanks for the reply rcastor426, I will put the old one back on. I was just very supprised that the clean air filter could choke it that much. I'm limited to the 2" because of the hood clearence. I wish I could find something else with great air flow and still have good filtration. Whats anyones take on the AIR HOG.
