Headlight switch vacume connections (two)
Does it matter which line is hooked to which port on the headlight switch? Based on what I could tell...it is just a simple control valve that allows the vacume to pass once the switch is placed in the headlight postion.

I'm not sure if it does matter, but I recall my white striped hose going in the port closest to the driver and the blue striped hose in the other.

Yes it does matter. There are two coming out of the dash area and one short one to connect the headlight switch and the switch to keep them up.
I have figured it out by just changing the hoses around to the the desired effect. Not too hard at all.

Correction... I had the manual switch pulled... Lights are still not coming up. Will check my vacume lines then could be a faulty switch? It is new...

When I encountered that problem, I switched the two lines coming from the firewall. Solved my problem. ie, hose A was attached to hl sw, changed to hl position sw. and vice versa.
For the record, my hoses and headlight switch are unmarked.
