Default god help me

I posted earlier that my tail lights got me a police warning. I then said that i fixed them, which was true. Since then i havent driven the car with the lights on. NOw when i go to park the car in the garage, the spedo lights and taillights fail to work AGAIN. I check and yes, the fuse is busted. What is causeing all my fuses to break?.... please help me....

i'm not sure, but it seemed like when i turned on the dimmer switch for the spedo lights, i hear a pop or something... i'm not sure.. But i think that was the fuse blowing.

I had a similar problem recently in my '68. Turns out I had a short in the wiring between tail lights and the switch. Check to make sure that your wiring hasn't rubbed through any place.

Many moons ago I had several issue with the lights on my Corvette. I replaced the light switch and the problems disappeared.

you'll have to follow the wiring inch by inch from the switch to the bulbs, looking for any place they could be grounded to the frame. luckily a fiberglass body won't ground it. joe
