Was in a 4th July Parade Sunday
Got to spend a morning in a parade North of SanDiego, thru residential streets. I've done several but they were always down main roads with lots of cars.
This time I was the ONLY Corvette and we were driving around LOCAL streets lined by thousands of residents. It was really cool! I was between a couple of other floats and the whole thing was about 90Minutes long. Every body loved having the shark there!
When they would yell out "What Year is the car???" I'd yell back that it was a BICENTENNIAL 1976!!
One guy yelled out "What color brown is that? " and I told him I couldn't say that word in front of all the kids!! Got a good laugh out of it.
And my horn got a good workout honking at all the locals, too!
