cant get it to start

i am currently rebuilding my 69 and i cannot get it to start. the battery holds a charge, the fuses are new, i have a brand new wiring hanress in the dash, the started checked out good, any ideas?!?!?!?!?! this one has me stumped

Do you have the engine ground strap installed on the passenger side?

Could you describe what happens when you turn the key? Is the engine even turning over?
