Default Repost the Assembly manual picks

80TexC3,

If possible could you post up the AIM picks of the diagrams and maybe some of the verbiage. I want to learn this process and get it right before going in too many more circles.

Any one else that has them, post em up!

Thanks Everyone!

Any resolution on the windows not going all the way up? I've got the same problem with all new components. It's like the motor just won't do it, I pull it goes, otherwise the gap remains.

I`ve got the same problem. New weatherstripping & the window won`t go all the way up with the door closed. It`s not leaking though. I put some lube on the stripping & it helped, it a little greasy though. Someone said it gets better after going up & down quite a few times & also being in the sun. Not much of that around here.

GB,

How far from the front pillar should window be when 1" from top?
AIM doesn't go into that and I have lots of back and forth room to work with.

Thank you!

Same problem here, won't go up all the way with door shut.Have tried everything to adjust just seems like not enough power with doors closed to go up all the way. Worked fine before I replaced weather stripping and door panels ( and removed the glass).

Same problem here and I have had two different brands of weatherstripping, the latest set is the best quality I could find. Carefully adjusted the doors and windows...many times. They seal perfectly now with a great fit. But...with doors closed I cannot get the windows all the way up. They either catch the weatherstipping on the way up or just bind up.

I have manual windows and mine do not go all the way up either with doors closed. mine dont seal real well regardless though. I need to get on the frustration wagon and adjust mine too...along with the t-tops and front windshield seals( newer weatherstripping but done before I bought the car) it never sees rain, but sure is a PITA when I wash it
