Default Turn Signal Question

What would make my 73's turn signal blink very fast? It's not the flasher cause I've changed it twice with the same results. Could it be a ground problem? I've redone the taillights and made sure they were grounded but haven't done anything with the front turn signals.
Thanks

In my experience it has always been a bad filament in one of the bulbs connected to the circuit. Turn on the flashers and check them all.

Good luck

Could be wrong flasher... When you use a heavy duty flasher or one that needs more than one bulb , it is needs more load to work correctly.

Fast flashing usually means too much load on a weak thermal flasher. Buy a heavy duty electro-mechanical flasher. Got mine at Autozone for 8 bucks.

I gout the "loud" one with variable load. They aren't all like that. I actually found the heavy duty ones like for trailers make flash real slow. I may have mis-stated on my first post but the type of flasher does make a difference.
