Does anyone know how to remove the lock from the glove box door? I'm trying to dye the door and want to seperate it from the back but I can't figure out how to remove the lock.

Stick the key in the door, open it up. On the back side you will see the lock assembly. If you look on the top of it there is a access slot. The first tumbler toward you is a retaining tumbler. Push this down with a paper clip and remove the the front cylinder. Then once this is out you can either use a large screw drive to remove the nut. What works best if you have to improvise is to take a small bolt and grind the head down to fit inside the nut. Then double nut the thread side and you have yourself a glove box nut removal tool
