Default Bloomington Gold Auction good to the '73...

Got the auction results for the Bloomington Gold auctions and the '73 did good.

73 Conv, Green sold for $18,500
73 Coupe, Red sold for $11,100
73 Conv, Yellow sold for $19,500
73 Coupe, Black, high bid of $10,000 - no sale
73 Conv, White, high bid of $40,000 - no sale
73 Conv, Green sold for $21,500
73 Conv, Orange sold for $27,500
73 coupe, Black sold for $14,000

Not bad prices. But what about that conv where bidding got to $40,000 and did not make reserve

Look out world, here come the 73s

It is on the Mecum web site: http://www.mecumauction.com
but you may have to sign up with them.

Thanks Tom! Great work, 73s! I am very pleasantly surprised. I have been checking that website regularly to see when the BGold auction results would be posted. There were some very special cars listed in that auction. (Let's go check it out!)

international blue 68 L88 - $103,000

1969 L88 - did we have a lengthy discussion about this car on the forum last year??? $172,500

ah yes, I have a mind like a steel..... sieve!

I think this was it.............

1973s rule. The prettiest of the C3s. I like your website Tom....I look at it often. I think 1973s are over looked. Their time is coming !!!!

I know the owner(and you probably do too)of the Blue Green '73 conv that brought $21.5 & the Orange 454 4spd conv that brought $27.5. He has(had, I guess now) 8 of the ten colors of '73. The ONLY '73s he did'nt have were Bright Yellow & Millie Miglia Red.

The White 454 convertible was looking for $45,000
