72 Custom coming back
Starting to get my baby back on the street after almost 10 yrs. It hasn't even been started in maybe 6 yrs so I hoping its not too hosed out. Cyl are soaking all the fluids are drained and replaced with new. Gas looks like syrup and I bet my 650 dbl pumper is varnished up badly. I'm looking at some new wheels and tires 17x8 on I'm thinking 255/50/17 tires. Wish me luck.

Re: 72 Custom coming back (HDIronman)
I have a couple brothers that have Vettes and one of them just can't hack mine since its not stock. You know its an investment and he feels stock Vette is always going to be worth alot more and I do agree somewhat. I myself could care less if its stock, its what I like and I'm trying to please ME.
Under the hood looks kinda crappy at this time but it runs really strong or atleast it did. This is all from memory but it has a 650 dbl pumper, 10 1/2:1 flat top forged pistons, chrome moly just about everything inside, forgot the lift and dur of the cam but its a pretty steep lift and duration it really loops along sweet , hooker headers, TPI 2500-3500 stall in the TH400 and a shift kit.

Re: 72 Custom coming back (mrvette)
The front grill actually need something done to. Its just aluminum bars no paint that I'd like to either chrome or maybe paint red or silver who knows.
The car need paint its been chipped off in places by my kids and their friends over the yrs (bikes). Once the car is running I'm going to focus on exterior since the car was mainly just a looker in the 1st place.
My next step will be the making the car a 0-80 faster than crap car. I want it to be snap your head fast but still be able to drive it on the street. Once I have spent my life's savings I'll start on the interior if I even do its ok for me really.

Very cool! Glad you're looking into updated wheels.
A car that cool looking deserves modern fuel injection when you get around to the motor.
