Default new oil pan

just got a milodon oilpan for my 70..it's a stock replacement for 55-79 blocks.does anyone know if i need the standard gaskets for my year, or do i need to get the one with the thicker front seal. the one piece gaskets looks like a good way to go...advice please

Default Re: new oil pan (fugawi)

Use the standard gasket. I always cut the ears off of the front and rear rubber half rings and use Permatex black silicone. I personally have not used the single gasket, but they seem like a good deal.
