Shot out to Dave Meyers Corvette Shop
Just got my girl back from Dave and he did;
R/R upper and lower pinion cushings/ washers and cups, bead blast and paint bolts, bead blast, paint and tighten differential bolts, check tighten all other suspension bolts, replace all french clamps and tighten 1/2 shaft bolts.
I had assumed the universals were going bad. Not so and he could have taken me but didn't and all this for under $300 in 1-day turn around. Thanks Dave

He is an honest repair shop, but pricey, IMHO.
