Default Vettes In Liberty, MO

As a member of the local chamber of commerce of Liberty,Mo. We were asked, if our Collision Repair facility, would be interested in being the major sponser of Liberty Fall Festival in Sept. I am not sure of the date yet. Details are sketchy at this time. we would like to host a Corvette only car show. Trailer it in, We just WANT YOUR CAR TO BE SHOWN TO THE PUBLIC. We will have a few judges from our paint jobber as well as PPG training center. Drive it in. The Corvette only show will be held on Sept 25th. We are not sure on the time yet. It doesnt matter what year or what your corvette looks like as long as it is a Corvette. This will be only Corvettes. This Is also A FAMILY Event, so you can bring your Family and enjoy the fesival and meet lots of people. There is also lots to do in the area around Kansas City, Mo.

I'm interested, but do I have to bring my Corvette to attend? It isn't licensed yet and most likely won't be until next spring.

Depending on the date (my wife's due at the end of September), I'd consider driving my car up there. I'd like to get some feedback about my slow Corvette! Let us know when you get more details.

Thanks for the replys.

I should know when the festival is by mid next week for sure. As soon as I know more of the details I will let everyone know.

Also you don't have to bring your vette to attend.

Thanks Larry

I have been wanting to go to an event of ANY kind, but the date may be a problem as I am supposed to go to South Dakota about then to visit my son and his wife (he's in the air force), and meet my new and first grand child who is due the 4th. I still can't believe I am about to be a grandpa at 37!!!

If things don't pan out for my trip, I will be there.

Depends greatly on the date, as we're planning on going to Funfest Sept 17-19.

Mid America has a big gathering for Corvettes every year, called Funfest. More info available here ---> http://www.madvet.com/shop?category=1.270 . In Effingham, IL. Go to the "Upcoming events and Regional Discussion" Section of this site, then National Events. Should still be a topic in there.

Are you planning to have all entries parked in a location from Friday night to Sunday or will we be able to move them overnight? If so, what will the hours be?

Hey all
Happy 4th
The Liberty Fall Festival is on sept 24th & 25th, So most likely we will have the Corvette show on the 25th of Sept. You will be able to park your vettes and take them back home with you. I am not sure what time the Festival starts, so I would say 10-11 to 5-6 pm. not sure on time yet.

End of Sept. is perfect. I should even have my car licensed to drive it up there.

Looking forward to meeting some fellow forum members there.

Is this a KCCA sponsered event, or just an organized Corvette show?

Sounds great Ak. Mal. Hopefully We can get KCCA up here also as well as touch of Glass Corvette club, plus As many others as possible. At the moment, it is just a organized Corvette show. The more Vettes we have of ALL years the better the show will be.

Thanks Larry
