Annodizing Rocker Panels -70
I am looking for information on how to get someone to strip, buff, polish and annodize my rocker panels. My panels have the tabs on them and I would rather have this done than put on some inexpensive replicas that are not correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I used 320 on a D A to take off the original finish then 400 wet followed by 600 then 800 wet, finally buffed with rubbing compound and Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish... no finish...

Yellow 72 Nice Job, Did you ever want to anodize them to help protect them? Have you heard of anyone doing this for a living or is it only individuals like you and me?

Super Job. Did you have to do it yourself because you couldn't find any business to do it? What about annodizing? I have heard it helps to preserve the life of the panels.

I'm sure there must be shops that restore annodized aluminum but I do all my own work, about the only thing I didn't do on my car was the engine machine work.
As far as keeping them nice, I just hit them with a little Mothers polish once in a while...
