New suspension...best prices?
I am starting to look for a suspension system to install over the winter. New front and rear springs, sway bars and shocks. I would like to find a package. Maybe from VanSteel or Vette Brakes. Anyone use their systems and who had the best price. Are there any other vendors that offer a package. Thanks

Lot's of vendors have suspension packages. You just need to find out which one will suit you best. I offer free shipping to forum members and I'll help you get the best kit for what you plan on doing.

There is a company called Kanter Auto Parts, or restoration parts, don't have their catalog here, (look up on Google) they make parts for all older cars and sell package deals. I don't know how there stuff is but it's guaranteed for life. A complete front end rebuild kit, ( for my 70 Vette) ball joints, upper and lower, tie rod ends, bushings, two upper and lower a arm shafts, all rubber parts is $240.00, they also sell coil springs, and shocks, not sure about the rear spring. I know this might sound crazy but I checked the cost of coil springs with numerous company's, they were all pricy, I then went to DISCOUNT AUTO (in Florida). I bought a set of Heavy Duty front coil springs for the 454 1970 Vette made by T RW, for $46.00 with a lifetime guaranty. They won't go in for awhile but TRW has been around for a long time and makes some pretty good stuff. Once installed, (maybe a year from now) I will update everyone as to how the are.
Hope This Helps

Everyone has their own deals. I think Bob might have over paid for his front end rebuild kit, but I'm not 100% sure what he got in his kit. You can find many vendors w/rebuild kits much lower in price.

I don't think TWR is making the coils anymore either. I think the rights to those were also bought by another company. The price for those however are good.

Their is no one better than Dan Vansteel to deal with. Just tell him what you are looking for and he can fix you up. I purchased a complete rear end , composit spring and trailing arms from him. It came ready to bolt in with all hardware and even oil in the carrier. The trailing arms came complete with all break hardware installed. Dan had a big sale going on at the time . Saved me big bucks. He stands behind every thing he sells. You may find cheaper but not better .
