Default Storage garage - what are you paying?

Hi All, well, I've finally decided to put the 'vette in storage, I'm getting sick of parking on the driveway after 3 years.

Anyway, what are people paying for public storage type places just big enough for my '74? I don't need to work on it in there, just store it, and I'd like something air cooled (air conditioned would be nice, but I think thats going to be prohibitave), but we do live in the desert, and an uncooled garage would probaly get over 130.

Thanks,
David

It's been over 3 years since I rented one so the price may not be real close (that, and geographic distance) but itwas ~ $70 a month for 10 X 24. Make sure you ask about driving it in also, I had some say only vehicles with all fuel drained were allowed to be parked in the unit. Those were mostly the Mini-storage type. Good luck

I called a couple of places a few months ago. A 10X20 is about $100 per month around here. Decided I did not need one after all.

I've been considering this too. Does a storage place have to specifically designated for car storage, or are we talking general mini storage type places? Are there any insurance concerns with doing this?

Aaa ha ha ha. I knew you couldn't sell it Dave. Too many bragg'n rights with a numbers matching BB. Once you finally wear out that nice new TA, you'll appreciate how simple that old chevy technology is to fix. Or maybe in near future price of a numbers match'n BB will pay for any storage fees and more.
But really hope to see you in the Street Bracket some weekend at The Strip.

$150/month and up around here. I store my boat inside a very clean and critter free barn for the winter months for $45/month, but once it's in there, it's there for the duration.
