Default 8" bolt rear spring install Help.

Trying to install a rear spring 8" bolt. I can't get it to install from top like normal length bolt. Thought I remember something about installing it from the bottom? Is that right? Lining up the nut from the top was also a bear. Could not get an angle on the bolt to line up with the nut. Could not compress the washer enough. Any suggestions. Or do I need to drop the entire spring, install the bolt and then reattach the spring. Doesn't seem like that would make sense. Only installing the 8' bolt on the passenger side. Thanks for any help.

I agree with Ed. You have to jack up the T-Arm to simulate its height when the car is sitting on the ground.

And, yes, installing a longer bolt from the bottom can help with tire clearance issues. Might not be able to do it if you have a really long bolt and a rear anti-sway bar, though. Just depends on your car.

Ed Thanks for your help. You were right on the money. Every thing lined right up. Going to watch the tire clearance now. Thanks again.
