Default Mated the 454 to the Chassis This Weekend...Progress Pics

Just thought I'd share. The wife and I mated (let's not get the wrong idea here...) the engine and the trans to the chassis this weekend. It's finally starting to look like something that resembles a 'vette again!!

The 454 awaiting mating

Believe it or not, it went so smooth there was none of this , this or this ...but once we finished, there was PLENTY of this

All in all a GREAT weekend!!

Dave

Thanks for the kind words!!

As for the fit, I found that to be a tricky proposition with a big block if you want performance AND everything to fit under the stock hood...there's just not that much room to work with. Had to stick with a stock LS5 intake because anything else just wasn't going to fit. I'll keep the progress pics coming, things are starting to move quickly now!
