{vacation pics at MGM Studios) I was a PT Capt :D
My wife and I went down to Florida to vacation. We went to MGM Studios and did the Backlot Tour.
I was lucky enough to get chosen . Here we are walking out to the set.
Last minutes instuctions. I was to be the Capt as we got shot at and bombed. The other guy is Gary who was from England. He was my mechanic. The two girls were deck hands.
Here's Gary in the "machine room."
This is why you wear full rain suits and rubber boots on a 90 degree day.
Here I am introduced to the crowd
"Machine gun" fire next to the boat
We got "bombed"
Had a lot of fun doing it.

We have been to MGM a few times and have done the Backlot Tour a few times too, always is enjoyable even though you know whats coming. We will be taking the kids back there next year at some point and can't wait.

I went to Universal in Hollywood with a couple of friends back in the early 80's. One of my friends was selected to participate in a scene from a space movie. He and two other people from the audience were supposed to be "space walking", suspended against a space back drop. My friend did fine for a few minutes, all serious but then he started doing some surfer moves...the crowd loved it and the studio let him go for a while. The other two space men were still moving like they were in space while Walt caught some serious waves!
