Anyone have this prob with turn signals?
Today the turn signals on the 77 started to act up. when you turn the signal on, in either direction, the light just stays on. Both the indicator light and the front and rear signal do not flash, just stay solid.
The hazards work as normal. All fuses are good but I didnt have enought time to look any farther into it before comming to work.
Is this the turn signal flasher under the dash on the passenger side that is bad?
Just wanted some info before digging into it later. Thanks.

Yup. The new flashers are pretty cheap (like $5 or less). Just plug the new one in and you'll be blinking away.

You should also check your light bulbs with the park lamps on and park lamps off. You may just have a bad bulb. Flashers are cheap, though, may as well pick up a new one of those as well.

Same problem here. Mine work if the RPM's are over 1200 tho. I am planning on cleaning the grounds and replacing the flasher this week

Pick up a heavy duty electro-mechanical flasher. The cheap thermal units will go out quickly in our cars.

And I checked all bulbs and they are good. Thats why I'm leaning toward the flasher. Plus the hazards all work and flash.

Yeah, the hazzard lights are on a seperate flasher than the turn signals. I agree with FeedVaal, get a good quality flasher so you don't have to replace it for a good long time.

Thanks for the info. I picked one up today at NAPA. Then I saw this post. Oh well I see what happens with the cheap one since I got it.
