Help!!! We're being swamped with C4s and C5s at Hills & Dales Classic Corvette Night! So if you want to keep me from dropping the word "Classic" you should show up this Tuesday...and it'd be nice if you'd bring your car, too.

For those who don't know, Hills & Dales is a real deal Texas ice house located near Loop 1604 & Babcock on the north side access road. There are over 200 different kinds of beer available, including 50 on tap. No food except chips & pork rinds.

We usually start around 5 or 6 pm, so come on out after work and join us to talk about cars...and perhaps to get a grin or two looking at the latest flashing widgets the C5ers have managed to find in Ecklers catalog!

Having missed last months get together and finally getting Ol' Smoky banging on all eight again, I am looking forward to it. The weather is not looking very cooperative though. If the weather holds out, I am down for a couple of frosties!

I can't have the slug there, as it's still all over the garage, but I will be there.

i will be there. sorry but not ion the old vette again. i am thinking about taking it to the red vette gathering in RENO, NV oct 1 & 2. this means i must start driving it again, just not tonight

If nothing else, we can sit outside under the porch to avoid the smoke. Or, we can even move to my garage - BYOB.

hey we can sit outside. i did not think about the smoke. i will just bring me some protection. not much beer here as im sure they will call me to work if i drink too much

i was talking about protection from the rain. i would never ask anybody to sit in a smoke filled room if they did not want to

It's not that bad while you're there, I just don't like to go home and smell like an ashtray.

After an extended visit to the dank inner bowels of Hills & Dales, I go home, take a shower, and burn my clothes!

Of course, burning the clothes could be a problem, what with all this rain...
