Default Removing Turn Signal and Tilt Levers (HELP)

I would like to remove my turn signal and tilt levers as I prep to repaint my steering column. Would appreciate any help with how to do this...

Thanks!

On my 80 the turn signal lever pushes in, the tilt lever screws in.

Vette-4-Life is correct. The 1977 through 1982 C3s had a screw-in tilt lever and a plug-in turn signal lever. The 1969 through 1976 T&T columns had both screw-in levers.

So do I just pull out the turn signal? "pull hard?"

I would just tape it off. Most time you can do more damage then it's worth and it's a pain to repair.

Yes, in my 76, they both unscrew. Just been there, just done that.
