Best way/medium to advertise Corvette for sale?
What is everyone's opinion on the best way to advertise and sell a Corvette? Where will the most eyes see my ad? I've had pretty poor luck selling sports cars through the newspaper. Recently I had my vette on collectorcartrader.com with no result (and they are way to expensive). I'm not trying to get rich, just trying to get it sold to make room for baby (in December)!
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

If you want to find it a good home put it up for sale in the C3 For Sale Section at a reasonable price, prolly not going to get top dollar but it should find a good home.

I know a lot of people on here don't like it, but you won't get anymore looks then on ebay. Just be honest and lots of good pics and you will probably get as top dollar as you can for it.

Try Auto Trader. That's where I found mine. They also have an internet ad service so while your car is advertised locally in their booklet it also gets exposure nationally. I think they also have a Corvettes and Chevy only edition. Hemmings also comes to mind.

I sold one in Auto Trader. Took about two weeks.

I bought mine off the Collectorcar traderonline website. You have to price the car right to move it.
My friend is trying to sell an almost show car 91 RS Camaro and a truley mint 94 C4 (both are purple with chromed OEM rims) and hasn't had much luck yet either.
List the car in all the vette forums. The more the merrier I say!! Its like fishing.

I think the largest audience is through traderonline. That and possibly ebay also. Ebay seems like a hit or miss way to buy/sell a car. The forum classifieds are certainly an option. Smaller, but more serious exposure. And don't forget vettefinders, too.

My car wasn't for sale when I dropped it off at the mechanic for brakes. He's on a fairly busy corner in a part of town where there are lots of custom shops, mechanics and body shops. He called me four times in three days asking if I would be interested in selling. People driving by stopped and asked if the car was for sale.
Try parking it at a busy intersection with a sign.
