I have Edelbrock Performer RPM's on my 406. The heads were bought bare and Manley Pro-Flo valves were installed after a mild porting job.

I'm thinking of building a 406 in the future for a different car, and if I do build it, I'll probably use the AFR 210's with the "competition package", which is a fully CNC ported head.

I have Edelbrcok Victor Jr. 215cc heads on my 406ci, I really like them, real good power above 3000RPM.
It depends on the cam and RPM you want to run, for a nice 406 ci setup without getting too crazy 200cc Sportsman II or Dart Iron Eagles are fine.
