suggestions for future engine
my 350 threw a rod. If anyone has any suggestions or links to info. on what my options are and prices for those options, id appreciate it. Should i have it rebuilt, repaired, or what kind of new engine if i got a new one?

When I toast this ZZ4 I will for sure go with a stroker 383 or more small block
I think it's tough to beat a "NEW" crate engine or short block.
Always better than resurfaced old parts and about the same price with a warranty

Check out Diabloengines.com. You could also go to some hot rod shows. Talk to the car owners and I'm sure you can get some good leads on suppliers of crate engines in your area.

my current engine and the new engine that I ordered are from AR Racing.. I've been very satisfied with my current engine... 12000 miles and 60 drag strip passes and my engine still runs like new... Just ordered a custom built 406 (to my specs) from them...

Go with the ZZ4 creat engines. They are cheeper in the long run. I did after being taken to the cleaners by a speed shop. I will never trust some one in a speed shop to build a engine for me ever again. $4500.00 for a anchor. Your safe with a creat. It's called "WARRANTY"

Re: suggestions for future engine (Brown78)
I went with ZZ4........no problems or issues. All bolt-ons, headers, pulleys, brackets, etc were fine. Performance is great. Would consider a 502 if I had to do again, cuz a 79 BB would be fun!
