center gauge bezel & screws
One of the reasons for replacing the bezel was because the holes in the back were broken out & no longer held the screws holding the instrument cluster. I just received a new one & noticed that inside the holes are smooth -- not threaded. I don't know how the original was fastened -- the way it is now is with a variety of screws (probably why its cracked & messd up). What is the best way to fasten the cluster to the bezel without the same thing happening abain.???

What screws?
No screws can with the new one & the ones in the old one is a mixed assortment: machine screws, sheet metal screws, wood screws & Lord only knows what else.
