Experience with Zip Products Repro frame?
Folks,
The Zip frame looks like a perfect solution to my rotten frame problem. Anyone bought one of these beasts? I have to admit I didn't much care for the customer service response when I asked for a data sheet or something. I was basically told "we sell them all the time". I can't imagine buying something for $3800 based on a part number :/
Thanks!
Bill

Bill, search around for a while before you spend $3800 on a reproduction frame. A good solid used one can be found for around $1800-2200.
Good Luck!

I installed a repro frame on a 65 this week. It looks good and fit well. There were a few holes etc to drill, but all in all it was nice. The NCRS guys would be able to spot little differences. I dont know if this is the same manufacturer as the one Zip sells, but I would bet it is.
