Very dim tail lights
Hi Gang,
I have a 75 coupe that is in very good condition but the tail lights and turn signals are barely visible during the daylight hours. I followed my wife the other day and it seems like the tail lights and turn signals are only about half as bright as they should be.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Try replacing the flashers. It worked on my '80.

Re: Very dim tail lights (Phil Zell)
All of the ground wires for the rear lights and fuel sending unit come together in one common point. From the factory they are all crimped together and then the wrap tape around the whole shebang. There is also a positive just like this. I unwrapped both of the common points and could barely get my test light to light up between to direct connections. I cut all the wires back and soldered everything together, covered with heat shrink and then wrapped them all with elec. tape. Solved every lighting problem in the rear of the car. Also, make sure the chassis ground is in good shape in the rear.

Check/clean all the grounds. Sounds like corrosion to me.
