OT Lots of new forum members lately
I just noticed that in the past few weeks i have seen a lot of new forum members on this forum. I think its good that more and more people are buying corvettes and trying to revive muscle cars. I guess it must be the warm weather . Just wanted to say welcome to all the new members out there and i hope you find answers to all your questions on this forum.

Cool thanks, been a vette owner for 4-5 years now. Come to think of it, I've been broke for 4-5 years now too. Seriously, I look forward to reading and chatting more about the car with all of you. There are very few hobbies you can sweat and bleed for, but make it all worth while.

But when I joined this forum I'd just bought my Vette which, apart from a couple of minor ****les, didn't have too much wrong with it (it's reliable as well). So I'm belly-boarding the forum for a while (other people surf, I belly-board) & the next thing I know is that I'm changing exhaust systems, manifolds, stats, trannys, cams, rockers.........

This place is a beacon for corvette owners. It is logical that they will eventually join the cult, I mean forum.

LOL, well I've been a vette owner for almost 5 years now. Never heard of the forum till I ordered a bunch of parts from VB&P. Got done with my order and the nice lady asks if I'm a corvette forum member. I said no, why? She tells me forum members get 10% off. I'm at work at the time so I tell her to hold on- I come here sign up and then tell her I am a member now. She has a laugh, but I saved $25! :-)
The forum is addictive though- I find my way here every day now on my lunch just to look and sometimes post.
As for the money- I think it is all well spent, most of the things I see on the forum people have done I have already wanted to do, but now I can ask someone who has done it if they really like how it turned out before I go spend the cash. There is a ton of experience here! Whoo-hoo!
Thanks, I love this place!

I've owned my Vette for 3 or 4 years now. Was on the web looking up information on the headlight popup system, namely - can it be replaced with a fixed system or electrical operation and found some forum posts via Google. A tangled web led me here, but now I feel like I found home. Now as I plan on going broker, I can be guided by the community.
Thanks folks! And there are some ultra rides here!
