Edelbrock EPS same height as Performer?
I would like to get the Edelbrock EPS PERMA STAR intake to replace my old Performer intake. I want to be sure they are the same height to clear the standard hood on my 72.

Don't know the exact dimentions between the two, but an EPS fit under my stock '77 L-48 hood using a drop base air cleaner. I had 1 1/4" clearance.

EPS is about 1/4" higher than Performer 2101 which is supposed to be about 1/4" higher than stock.

One point to keep in mind, '68-72 SB stock hoods have the lowest underhood clearance of all the vette's. So what fits under a '77 won't fit under a '72 necessarrily.
