Electric Window and Lock mechanism "sticking & slow"
I am looking for any tips that some of you have used for cleaning out the old grease from the lock mechanism and window chanels. I found that Brake Cleaner works GREAT... HOWEVER, don't let it touch the paint. Use it for getting the old grease off the door hindge wheels and freed them up quickly. also softened the paint on the hindge... Really didn't care given it was inside the door and a new paint job is in the future plans... just don't want to mess up the lower door sill.
Any thoughts?

Melting Slicks
My driver's side window seems to stick in the fully raised position. I took the motor apart and cleaned it up and it started working again only to fail in the upmost position again. Now i'm wondering if its something catching or sticking in the fully raised position.
I don't know how you lube all this stuff without taking the whole thing apart. I would just use penetrating spray to re-hydrate the grease thats already there.
