613 WHEELAHOLICS ! Yet no one can identify these?????????
These phots were shot aprox. 1979-1980.
For you U.K. residents the location was Huddersfield W.Yorkshire .The keeper was maybee a Nigel Jackson around this time??? Has any one seen the car since if so remember what wheels these are???
All you guys in the U.S.A. and worldwide someone must recognise the manufacturer and brand name(im pretty sure these are NOT wheel trims)
I would dearly love to put a set of these on my vette i think theyre just as eye catching as Crager S/S. What ya all think?

Advise from a NewBee...
I had the same issue until some of the experienced forum members helped me out... Found that using http://www.photobucket.com worked best... its free...just upload your pictures and it then gives you URLs to copy for either links or the actual photo... Nothing to do but cut and paste.
Good luck...

I don't recognize the wheels, but know the tires (BFG Belted T/A bias ply tires - before they came out with the radial version - quite old).

Try Appliance or McGregor wheels. I don't think Appliance is in business anymore, but you might find someone that deals with them still. McG is an OEM supplier with many, many nice styles like that.
Also check with some old Compomotive catalogs.

If you email the pics to Terry Rowe at AKH Wheels (akhwheels@elltel.net), he would know - also if you are looking to buy vintage wheels, he is another good source
Here his website http://www.akhwheels.com/
I got my Ansen Sprints from them (not on my car yet though)...

Re: WHEELAHOLICS! Can You Identify These Beauties?? (SARASOTA SAM)
Come on chaps! 518 hits so far and no one got a lead on this??
Maybee this is a clue?
Any one heard of "MOTOR WHEELS" who manufactured a thing called "EXCITER" AROUND 1969-1972?
Is this it. IF it is are they still around? have they been taken over?
Are these still avail? or is there any sets(4or5)to be had in the world?
If you know anything or got some post up some pics.PLEASE.
Maybee some company is reproducing these under a different name?
AS MUCH INFORMATION AS YOU CAN HELP OUT WITH WOULD SURE BE APRECIATED.
Thanks SAM.

What does it say on the hub?--my photo or screen makes it awful fuzzy--but it looks like there is some lettering in white on the center cap.

I will take a shot...71-72 olds Delta 88 had a wheel which looked like this. I will do a search and see if I can confirm this.
