Default Tires, Street - Drag

Is there any street tire that comes close to a Drag Radial for traction?

What is the stickiest street tire?

How much clearance is required between the tire side wall and the rear spring for safety?

Let's bump this to the top in hopes of getting some answers, or at least a few good guesses.

not that I know of... If you want tires that work on the street and track - you have to go with Drag Radials...

GS, Mickey Thompson or Goodrich? Have you ever been caught in the rain?

Never drove through rain with the Mickey Thompson ET Streets, but I got caught in heavy rain with almost bald Drag Radials and they felt pretty good... If you don't drive crazy - Drag Radials are ok for street use - especially the Nitto Drag Radials... I wouldn't use ET Streets on the street...

Seems like the Nitto's have a little more going for them on the street but they do not have a 295 or larger 15". Would your second choice be the B F Goodich drag radials?

I used the BFG Drag Radials and they were great on the street - even in rain...

They don't have 295's either.. However- they have the 325/50R15 !!
