79 Questions? Little help here Please
1)On a 79 The plastic distributor cover is held how? I see the clip for the spark plug hold down ring. What about the legs?
2) Where is the ground wire supposed to go? I see the stud on the side of the cover where it mounts with a wing nut but where does the other end of the cable go?
3)Does anyone know where I can get a correct transmission vacuum modulator tube?
Thanks in advance

if we are speaking of the plastic ignition shielding, mine was missing when i bought the car,so i'm of no help. as far as a the modulator tube, i would think any trans shop would have this since it's just a common th350 tranny.

The plastic ignition shielding is best kept in a dark corner of the garage. It is ugly and only of limited usefulness.

The ignition shield just slips into place. There are no attachment points for the legs. It is restrained somewhat by the back edge of the air cleaner lid. The ground strap mounts to the back/upper valve cover bolt. The modulator can be had at most automotive parts/transmission shops. The TH350 was a very common transmission in its day. Its use on the Corvette was not unique.
