Default Air cleaner/induction hood seal ?'s

I just cleaned up and re-painted the air cleaner assembly on my 73 L-48 Coupe. The old round rubber seal was in very bad shape and I have a new one, but can't figure out how it's supposed to go on. Can anyone help? Pic's of one installed would be really great!

On the bottom side of the seal there's a lip where the rubber folds over on itself. This is where you slip the rubber onto the flange of the air cleaner assembly.
