if you were offered triple, would you sell it and buy what?
(long term owners)let's say you take the money and run, only to find that you would be lucky to buy a similar c3 for that amount :confused:
So what would you buy?

I seriously doubt I could get $48,000 for my car, but if some schmuck were to offer it to me, I'd get a Pantera.
EDIT: $16,000 is what I have in it-not what I paid for it.

in this scenario the very old vettes all triple in price. so a c1 would cost double or triple what you got for the c3. still want it?

I'd probably get a '73 'vert project car- so I can be free when it comes to the emissions laws.
And with the leftover $$ I'd get my wife a mid 70's Jaguar and restore that for her.
If I STILL had $$ leftover, I'd probably try to get a '84-88 car, gut it, and turn it into a 1940's "ZZTop" style roadster.
Or maybe even a BB chevy powered shelby cobra! :smiliedrool: That I would assemble, of course.

the 68-72's may have quietly tripled, and if you have not been keeping track of prices(like me)
you have the opportunity of cashing in and then what? buy a house? pay off the mortgage? get a mistress? buy a just as attractive 74-82?(but not bringing highprices by collectors)
a c5? a c6? a pure bred dog? a race horse? a jet ski? What?

10-20 years. Disqualifies me. I've only had my Vette 5 years. Triple what I paid though would only give me $21,000! :D
