MA's Met. ceramic coated Hedman Headers
i have Hedman's on there now but while the tubes are great the colector has some rust build-up and it may come back even if I have them coated (sand blast/ acid dip then coated inside/ outside) Here is Mid America's advertisement
The ultimate in headers for your vintage Corvette--Hedman HTC Hedders. These headers have a ceramic Hi Tech Coating, the best thermal protection on the market. Hedman HTC Hedders won't chip or peel, withstand temperatures up to 1,300 degrees, are more durable than chrome headers, and will never blue like chrome headers. Hedman HTC Hedders are a direct replacement for stock headers and include the gasket for easy installation. For off road use only. $399.99
and here is Summit Racing
Our Summit performance headers are manufactured in the U.S.A. from heavy 18 gauge (.049 in.) tubing for superior flow. The headers feature a pressure-formed collector for better flow rate, 5/16 in. thick collector flanges with O-ring seal, and mandrel-bent, jig-welded tube-to-flange plate for a perfect fit. Gaskets, mounting hardware, and reducers included. For off-road and racing use only. $79.99
(other ceramic coating for $189.00!!!)
I'm awaiting a response if they sell with metallic ceramic coating as they have it for other applications but not Corvettes.

Re: MA's Met. ceramic coated Hedman Headers (Cali,68,L-79)
Here's another alternative
Vendor: Hedman Hedders
Product Line: Hedman Street Hedders
Material: Steel
Finish: Ceramic Coated
One of the best buys in bolt-on performance.
Chevrolet: 1963-82 262-400 Corvette, shorty-style, 1 5/8 in. primary tubes, 3 in. collectors, headers
$315.88
(these may have a problem clearing my wire looms hanging off the valve covers)
