Wheel alignment tip
I went to Sears yesterday to get a new spare tire, and happened to mention that the 72 needed alignment. The guy said they can do it for $99  So I had it done. Got a print out of before and after too. I've paid over $200 at a Chicago Vette shop in the past. So I asked the guy if all Sears auto centers can do it and he said yes, it's in their book.

Re: Wheel alignment tip (1Bad69)
After my 69 body off rebuild and complete new suspension, I went to the best frame and alignment shop in my area, Derham Frame and Axle. It was done in 30 minutes and cost $80. They don't specialize in Vettes, they will align anything and do it right. I've been going there for the 40 years I"ve been driving and only need to do it once. My experience with Vette shops has been all bad, so I avoid them.
