Where to get a chrome air filter top?
Where's the best source for a replacement top for the air filter? I want good quality chrome - nothing cheesy. I checked the Mid America catalog and couldn't find one. Any other suggestions?

I got mine from NoahPerformance. It is a chromed version of the stock cover. Good price too. You might want to check ebay. Hope this helps. :cheers:

If you're talking about the lid for the open element 14" air cleaner, check out Rik's at http://www.riksvet.com - they have 3 versions - a "correct" one with printed instructions on the back side, one without the printed instructions for half the price, and an imported "replacement" version for half the price of that one. Pick your poison. I opted for the cheapo version, stuck the 350 emblem on it, and it looks great.

go to summit or jegs they have them or I have a 14" chrome top I'll send you if you pay the shiopping. If interested I'll e-mail u a pic. It was on my 78 came off a camero and nowI have a K/N filter top

Ebay. Noahperformance sells the same ones there that they sell on their website, but you can get them for ~$10 cheaper. The Noahperformance top is the one you want if you want an accurate repro. They are perfect reproductions down the to the proper angle for the top indention and the rolled edge. Only difference between them and OEM is the silkscreened directions on the underside of the original and the charone on the repro is better.
