Powder Coating vs. Ceramic
Wanted to know if you can powder coat headers, and if so what would be the differance from ceramic coating them? Has anyone done this? What about powder coating exhaust?
Thanks

Re: Powder Coating vs. Ceramic (SCS Red80)
Ceramic coating is "usually" for hi-temp applications (headers). Powder Coating would be for parts that you would normally paint & paint & paint & paint over & over again. Powder Coating is very durable but definitly will not stand up to exhaust heat.
Ceramic Coat your headers, intake manifold (if you like, some people do)
Powder Coat your brackets and stuff like that.

Re: Powder Coating vs. Ceramic (LOTAHP)
I have a very good and inexpensive powder coater right near me. It's great. I have everything, that I would normally take off & paint to keep thing looking nice, now goes to the powder coater. $5 here $10 there isn't bad especially how nice it comes out and how long it lasts. most of the stuff I get podwer coated is either black, silver, orange.
