Default 400 trans converter

I'm going to install a shift kit and converter in my car. The converter I'm looking at is B&M tork master 2400. It says you have to change the pump and input shaft to a fixed design. What does this mean and can I do it myself. I'm pretty good mechanically but have zero experience with transmissions. Thx for your help..Casey

Don't understand that. I put the B&M 2400 on a T400 with a bb and did not change a thing and it runs. I'd call them and ask.

I install that one on my th350 and I think they might use the same one. It was a simple swap, not sure about all the stuff they said you have to do. Just remember to pour a quart of tranny fluid in it befrore installing.
