Autolite 24 in my BB?
The guys at CarQuest told me to run Autolite 24 plugs in my BB, said it was a good heat range and had good overall performance. Also said the Champion I was using was too hot. I have a MSD system so its got plenty of power, what is the advantage or disadvantage to using a hotter or colder plug? I have noticed that the hotter plug was running a medium tan color.

I've been an Autolite fan for years. I think they are better at resiting oil fouling which is helpful in SB chevy's with worn valve guides. I don't even use Champions in my lawn mower

I run the Autolites in all my performance engines.
