Spark plug choose for a 1969 L-71 with difficulty starting cold
I purchased a 1969 corvette with a L-71, and the person said that the car when cold needs to be pumped 25 times before you turn on the ignition, the car then starts right up, but 25 times is to much, in my opinion. Could the spark plugs be wrong, they are r43, could it be the fuel pump, filter
does any heard of this issue with a L-71

Re: Spark plug choose for a 1969 L-71 with difficulty starting cold (TFranchini)
Hi
Sounds more like a carb problem.
Choke mostly, I guess.
Otherwise check the ignition advance is correct, and the distributor vacuum
canister, sticky distributor advance flyweights.
Good luck. Gunther

the car is a tripower, but in one of the phots the gas line, the second brass block does not have a fuel line(stainless steel) going to the center carb
