Default Energy suspension Body bushing help!!!

Ok I lifted one side of the car and compare the old (rubber) bushings with the new polyurethane ones.
Problem: wich bushing goes up and wich goes dowm? there are 2 kinds of bushing a short round (shorter than the original in my car) one and a tall conical one (taller than the original in my car).
The box came with instruction but the shape in the pictures differs from the real bushing that came in the box.
Since the bushing in the car MUST be worn out my guess is that I have to replace them with the connical ones ..... any ideas????

Thanks

I have not installed mine yet - but dry-fit them about a year back.

#2 and #3 are different from #1 and #4 (if my memory is intact).

#2 and #3 have the taller cone shaped piece on the bottom between the
frame and body - smaller side up. #1 and #4 have the cone shaped piece
flipped over - still between the body and frame.

Anyone that has them in - that can confirm this ?

I have them in, and although I remember that the drawings in the instructions were not matching the actual bushings I had no problem figuring out what goes where.

I'm pretty sure I have the flat disc on the underside of the frame in pos 1, then the cone between the frame and body, like on all other places. Then for pos 2 the flat disc is sitting inside the door pillar, for pos. 3 it's the same with the disc on top, for the rear pos. the disc is the lowers part.

The wider side of the cone is on the body side, the smaller side omn the frame side.

I think - wider side where the smaller bolt hole is ... skinny end where the
bigger opening is. Bigger opening on the #1 and #4 frame brackets ...
and in the #3, #4 rocker channel openings. So, the above statement I agree
with for #1,#4 only.

I may be wrong - but that would mean flipping all four over.

The diagram they give you is the Chevy picture for installing stock mounts. WTF !

What do you mean? That the smaller side should go through the larger hole?? I have mine on and the body sits fine, no other way about it..then again it could be I have them the other way around. Let's see if I don't have a pic that shows them :)

kinda hard to see but on the #1 mount I think have the wider side of the cone on the top (body side) and the smaller side on the bottom (frame side) with the 2nd ring under the bracket on the frame.

Here I too have the wider side of the cone on the frame side and the other side on top with the 2nd bushing on top of the body with the bolt through it.

..in case you're wondering what happened to the frame, I capped it off.

I'll check it this weekend to make sure, I'm positive I have them intsalled properly. The body is sitting completely straight and I didn't need any shims either (not that I had any)

#1 & #4 should be the same, the other 2 should have the cone inversed...I think LOL

So I got it right I guess!!!!
I 've put the conical sandwiched between the frame and the body.
for # 1 & 4 I did this : Body washer small side of cone frame bracket flat bushing other washer.
Why do Energy Suspension give us a generic not acurate instructions paper instead of the correct one????
That´s not a good customer satisfaction policy!!!!

Thanks

BTW Twin turbo your car is  very  !!!!!
