Default Swapping to a 4speed

I am finally getting off my dead posterior and getting rid of the TH 400 and swapping to a manual in my 74BB. Seems like the spring started out simply, with a carb rebuild by Lars. A new cam, ported and polished heads, new roller rockers, beehive valve springs, and a 4 speed just grew out of nowhere. I believe when I am done I will actually be able to do a burnout!

If you are going to go through the trouble you might as well go 5 speed to get the OD.

:iagree: Would not go back to a 4 speed unless a top notch resto is going to be done. The OD makes the car driveable at highway speeds. In this day of 2$+ gas prices it even saves a little fuel.
