Default Would spacers/adaptors help here?

I saw this on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43955
and the seller tried to mount them on his Vette, but must've run into inner fenderwell clearance problems with the 5" BS. Could he use spacers/adaptors to solve the clearance problem?

By the time you get a 1 inch adapter to space them properly and buy his wheels you could buy the right wheel and spend the same money.

Just my humble unsolicited opinion, but those wheels look like they should be on an F-150. :(

i don't agree. They might look quite nice on a vette. Some of the wheels i see people running around here look like they belong on a 57 chevy hotrod. Just too flashy for a vette in my half butt opinion.

Are they those kind that continue spinning even at a complete stop? Do they make those for vettes?
