Default Timing a 350 Need help

I wanted to get my timing checked on the 75. But I can't - There is no timing marks on the chain cover. My wifes 78 has a little L-bracket with notches and 0"- 8" spot welded to the chain cover. What do I do now

Default Re: Timing a 350 Need help (JBR)

Go to the auto parts store and buy a timing marker. They should have one in the little "chrome pieces" section. Should be <$10. Check where the one on your wife's is, replicate.
