Say hello to my little new friend!
Woke up this morning not expecting to be buying another Vette today.
Checked the local adds and found this 82 with 71,000 miles completly stock.
The guy was asking 7,500 but he took my $7000.00 check and I took my
new to me 82 Vette home. I had been looking for along time for one and I
finally found one in really great condition and the price is unbeatable.
I did not get home in time so pics are dark but I'll take somemore later.
Now I currently have three Vettes 79, 82 and 87, thats one too many
so the 87 will be leaving shortly. Click pic to enlarge
The paint on the engine is still original and it is not peeling or cracking.
I am really amazed, the seller also threw in a nice car cover and several
years worth of Corvette Fever mags.

Darren,
I guess you wasn't joking when you said you were out cruising for a Vette.....Nice 82.
Will you tunnel ram induction this one or the 79?

Nice score.
Jusst an observation; C3s have classic lines whiles C4s look dated IMHO. I do like C5s though (FRC-Z06).

standup - Yes, I was looking for a Vert but they are too hard to find over here.
Cappy - Yes, Now that I have the body style that I was really looking for the 79 will become the experimental car. Probably will be going with something
sticking out of the hood like a tunnel ram. Like I said earlier I really was not
expecting to buy at Vette that day but after the cruise to Sandy's I went home and checked the newspaper ads and found the 82. I am stoked.
