security system
the stingrays seem to attract a lot of attention...especially after i get a new paint job and maybe add sidepipes
anyone know a good security system or if alarms are even worth it?
it seems like i always hear alarms and think nothing of it

Re: security system (mlub)
I work next door to an auto security shop and I hear alarms all the time......even after I leave work  .........
.......so my point is I don't take notice of them anymore.......
......I think insurance is a good defence against theft.....that and not being too married to your Vette......an alarm would be good for cutting your excess down though........
Also......try the Forum search for info about alarms.....

Re: security system (mlub)
I've had two hot rods stolen in the past - a 56 Bel air and a '57 two door. Absolutely sucked. Now all my vehicles have Clifford alarms with ign kill. The one in the Vette also kills the starter. Only way they are gonna steal it, is with a tow truck. :yesnod:
